Jewelry – One among the Timeless Wedding Gifts

When the big day arrives, palpitation starts not only in the hearts of the bride and groom but also in the hearts of the near ones concerning the most unique gift that is ageless and bears a touch of fondness.

Among the hundreds and thousands of objects in the world, timeless beauty is found in only a few. Diamond is one of them. Diamond has the ability to accentuate another timeless creation of God, the woman. The feminine beauty transcends to divinity when she dons a piece of diamond jewelry. Give your diva the gift of intricate diamond jewelry on her wedding.

Jewelry makes the most prominent gift for a wedding and people who think it is cliché, should remember that there’s nothing more heart-warming for a bride than the eternal gift of jewelry.

Quality should be the finest when it comes to choosing wedding gifts for your dear ones. The jewelry you give her should complement the wedding attire and be in tune with the wedding theme.

Misleading Terms Used For Diamonds

Sometimes non trusty dealers or some online retailers use following misleading terms against the original diamond. As "diamond" is one of the word in these terms a person can easily be confused and faked by the use of these terms. To educate you, I am explaining them here:

  • "Alaska black diamond" is actually hematite.
  • "Alaska diamond", "Alencon diamond", "Arkansas diamond", "Bohemian diamond", "Bristol diamond", "Cornish diamond", "Irish diamond", "Isle of Wight diamonds", "Marmora diamond", "Mexican diamond" and "Vallum diamond" stand for rock crystal (quartz) and NOT real diamond.
  • "Ceylon diamond" and "mature diamond" is really colorless zircon.
  • "Jourado diamond" is just a colorless stone.
  • "Killiecrankie diamond" and "Saxony diamond" is another name for colorless topaz.
  • "Nevada diamond" and "Nevada black diamond" are nicknames for obsidian.
  • "Radium diamond" is actually smoky quartz.

Diamond - Reflect the flame of everlasting love

Many stories surround "the gift of a diamond" as a token of everlasting love. The ancient Greeks believed that the fire of a diamond reflected the flame of everlasting love. The tradition of presenting the diamond as promise of love and commitment in marriage started when Archduke Maximilian of Austria gave a diamond ring to his fiancee, Mary of Burgundy.

How to Gift Sweet Sixteen Jewelry

In a nutshell, the jewelry gift for the young lady who has just turned sixteen needs to be special, so make sure you accompany it with some nice candies and chocolates. You can even add a little soft toy or any other little present. Lets not forget, although she's in love with the idea of being a 'grown up' already, she is nothing more than a child at heart, still.
